⚠️ Winter Weather Facility Update 1.25.26 1pm
Temporary Closure – Sunday, January 25 at 1 PM
As of this update Sunday Jan. 25th at 1pm, both locations currently have power and gate systems are still sticking intermittently and ground conditions remain extremely slick and unsafe for both walking and driving due to snow, sleet, and freezing temperatures. For the safety of our customers, staff, and property, both locations will remain CLOSED through the remainder of today.
🕗 We plan to reassess conditions at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning. At that time, staff will evaluate:
- Ground and driving conditions
- Gate and equipment functionality
- Overall safety for customer and staff access
If conditions improve and the facility is deemed safe, an update will be posted. If unsafe conditions persist, closure may remain in effect.
⚠️ Please do not attempt to access the facility while closed.Frozen ground, ice buildup, and slick surfaces present a serious safety risk.

• For past-due accounts, overlocks may not be removed during inclement weather until conditions allow for staff safety.
• Outside non-climate units may be affected by freezing temperatures.
• Locks, latches, gates, and equipment may become frozen during extreme cold. Your safety — and the safety of our staff — remains our highest priority.

I truly LOVE Storage Town in Germantown!! I have several Units there and Property managers, Shirley and Christine who are now like family, made the whole process as easy as possible!! I have been having my units there for several months now and it truly has been such a great experience that I really don’t want to ever switch storage facilities ever again! It’s is truly a night and day experience vs when I had my storage over at E.S. which really sucked and they kept going up on prices every time you sneezed. Storage Towne of America, Shelby Drive Location is a 5 Star Storage Units Facility. My Son occupies a unit here under the Leadership of Chris and Susan! They are truly a great asset, presenting friendly personality and professionalism to all that comes in contact with them. Since Chris and Susan have been at the Shelby Drive location. They have both been very helpful in assisting me with my concerns. When you walk in to pay your bill, it’s a very friendly hello and warm and welcoming smile. I would highly recommend this location because of the staff and their professionalism and love for their customers.
