UPDATE: Mr.Brown Gill was kind enough to reach out to me and help me resolve my ongoing issue. I really appreciate his help resolving this matter as I have been really stressed about this for months.
My storage unit was robbed and storage towne refuses to take blame since they were bought out by Public Storage.
I bought a storage unit from Storage Towne in January of 2019. I always paid for the insurance and I bought everything I needed including the lock I use for the storage unit. I had no issues with my unit until January 2020. When I went to pay my rent for my storage unit on February 7th, 2020, I opened my unit to check on my items and noticed that my Ugg boot,Vince Camuto Knee boots, 55'' LG smart flat screen TV, and 65" Vizio smart flat screen TV. Both TV's were brand new , still in the box, and had never been touched. There was also damage that had been done to the back of my brand new leather couch. I immediately filed a police report regarding this matter and had it added to my file. I have been going back and forth with Storage Towne regarding me filing an insurance claim but they refuse to give me the insurance information I paid with them for the month of January. I am very frustrated about this because I had no issues with my unit until Storgae towne was bought out on the 17th of January (per Public Storage). I just want to be able to file an insurance claim and not just have to deal with the fact that my items have been stolen from my unit It's not fair to have to have been paid on my insurance all this time and not be able to file should something happen to my unit.
Update: Storage Towne and I were finally able to come to an agreement.“

I would like to thank, Storage Towne of America for providing a great service for keeping my belonging safe and the property was always clean.I was their customer for close to three years and never had any issues. Well kept indoor storage units, I've had no problems with theft or bugs. I've met the owners and they provided me with exceptional customer service. I recommend this facility to everyone who has short or long term storage needs.
