Vacating Notice Germantown Location

• A written 10-day move-out notice is required.
• Please reply to any email you've received from Storage Towne to submit your move-out notice or ask questions. Replying to an existing email ensures your notice is attached to the correct account and helps us process your request more quickly.
• Please have all items removed, your unit completely vacated, and your lock removed by 9:30 PM on the last day of the month.

• Remove all belongings and your lock.
• Please close the building door behind you to help maintain the building's temperature and security.

• Please close and latch your unit door after moving out to help protect the unit from weather, pests, and other outside elements. Do not reinstall your lock.

• Occupied Status: Your unit is not considered vacated if any items, trash, or your lock remain in or around the unit. If anything remains, the unit will continue to be considered occupied, and the next month's rent will be due on the 1st. Rent is not prorated on move-out; we only prorate on move-in.
• Invoices: Monthly invoices are generated automatically, even after a move-out notice has been submitted. If your move-out is completed as planned, you may simply disregard any invoice generated afterward.
• Autopay: If you're enrolled in Autopay, it will remain active until your move-out has been completed and verified. Once your unit has been officially moved out in our system, Autopay will automatically be removed. If your move-out is not completed by the end of the month, your lease will continue month-to-month, and you remain responsible for any rent due, even if you have canceled Autopay.
• Move-Out Confirmation: Once our staff verifies that your unit has been completely vacated, your lock has been removed, the surrounding area is clear, and no new damage is found, you'll receive a confirmation email letting you know your move-out has been completed.
• If Plans Change: If you're unable to move out by the end of the month, simply make your next rent payment and your lease will continue on a month-to-month basis under the same terms.
